Hello all! I live in Albuquerque, Nuevo Mexico, or "Burque" as we call it around here. Born and raised here. I am a therapist that is constantly bumping heads with tne "main stream". I work only with Latinos, primarily immigrants. I become FURIOUS when someone tries to tell me to use the typical "white" methods with my gente, as they do not work! My culture is my world. Im always ready to step up and do all that i can for mi gente, and have even gone to the federal level when fighting discrimination. I have learned to pick my battles, but there are lots of them!!
